Santander Grand Prix Podium 3 Year Tracker Mortgage

A new 3 year tracker mortgage is being launched for new and existing customers from the Santander bank via its intermediaries accounts from abbey bank. The new products are being launched tomorrow in a bid by the lender to attract more new business from new and existing customers. The new deals under the fabulous name of “Grand Prix Podium” are also available from other parts of the business such as the Abbey intermediaries. And there are other moves by the lender for existing customers looking to move home by improving its LTV on some products from 75% to 80% which is welcome news for homeowners in the current tight credit economy.

The new Grand Prix Podium Rates from Abbey and Santander

Here are the range of new mortgage products that are being offered by Santander and Abbey as from tomorrow for new and existing customers (check with your lender for specific details first) :

• three year tracker mortgage at 3.21% 75% LTV and no fees
• existing customers increase in LTV from 75% to 80% for 2 products
• loyal movers mortgage 2 year fixed rate at 3.99% 80% LTV with no fees
• loyal movers variable rate mortgage at 2.99% 80% LTV with no fees

The maximum loan value for the above products is £550,000 and Santander are also offering a loyal mover 2 year fixed rate mortgage at 3.09% with a maximum loan to value of 70% with a £995 fee for loans up to £1 million.

The mortgage director at Santander, Phil Cliff said “we are keen to reward existing customers where possible… and to help those borrowers with smaller deposits…(these products) offer customers a great opportunity to get their finances in pole position (with the) Grand Prix Podium Special… and will certainly help keep them on track”
